The event "Pandemic and post-pandemic advancements of LGBTI / SOGIESC human rights by UN Treaty Bodies" is a launch event for ILGA World's reports on how the Treaty Bodies have addressed SOGIESC issues in 2022. Follow this link to read more about the publication, and to download our latest Treaty Bodies report about the years 2020 to 2022.

The  event  will present the main findings and developments on the human rights of LGBTI people rights as addressed by the UN Committees.

ILGA World's 2022 Annual Treaty Bodies report, launched in June 2023, allows activists and practitioners to learn about the trends and developments in relation to SOGIESC issues by Treaty Bodies, and explore opportunities for advocacy at the local and international level.

The event will be joined by speakers from different backgrounds and expertise in the field of human rights, such as members and leaders of civil society organisations, complainants before the UN Committees, legal practitioners and academics with experience in LGBTI topics and UN Treaty Bodies .
