We are thrilled to share some highlights of this year's International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) campaign.

IDAHOBIT, celebrated annually on 17 May, is a global initiative that aims to raise awareness about discrimination, violence, and challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. This year's theme, "Together always: united in diversity," emphasised the power of solidarity and allyship in fostering an inclusive society that respects and celebrates the rights of all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.

In 2023, ILGA World took a more active role in the global campaign, by coordinating the IDAHOBIT Working Group and hosting its Secretariat to facilitate participation of our communities worldwide. Various activities, events, and initiatives were organised by individuals, communities, and groups to advocate for equality and respect for LGBTQIA+ populations.

Today, we are thrilled to share with you the annual report, providing a brief overview of the impact and moments from IDAHOBIT 2023. As we reflect on the lessons learned, let us renew our commitment to promoting equality, respect, and love for all individuals. Together, we can create a world where diversity is embraced and celebrated.

Thank you for being part of our movement!
