Equitas is still accepting applications from human rights defenders worldwide for its International Human Rights Training Program, which will take place in Montreal, Canada in June 2016.

The International Human Rights Training Program (IHRTP) is an internationally recognized intensive three week training program, specifically dedicated to building the capacity and skills of human rights educators.

Every year, the program attracts participants from over 45 countries to enhance their actions in defending and promoting human rights, including those of LGBTI people, worldwide.
