2024 ILGA World Conference: updates on scholarship applications and session proposals

We received more than 1000 scholarship applications and almost 500 session proposals. Thank you for all the interest in the largest global gathering for LGBTIacronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people. Although this is not the acronym available to describe people of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, and sex characteristics, it is the most commonly used in United Nations spaces and advocacy. changemakers worldwide: the 2024 ILGA World Conference is going to make waves!

We are carefully reviewing every submission we have received, and the selection process is taking longer than anticipated: this is why you still haven’t heard from us regarding your application or proposal.

We expect to be able to announce the results in a few weeks. Please note that only successful scholars and successful proposals for sessions will be informed. However, an announcement will be made here and on social media when that happens, so that those whose scholarship application hasn’t been approved can investigate other arrangements to attend the 2024 ILGA World Conference.
