Here are a few figures from the last time we met:

- including 115 scholars and 255 online attendees
- 69% of whom were at the ILGA World Conference for the very first time
- from 111 countries and territories
- 137 sessions
- 4 UN human rights experts and 3 States’ Special Envoys on LGBTIQ people’s human rights in attendance
- 194 articles covering the conference from media outlets in 33 countries
Find your conference fee
ILGA World has different tiers of fees to help support diverse participation. You can contribute to support the scholarship programme and other ILGA World work by choosing a higher fee!
- Regional board, youth (18 – 30 years), local participants (Cape Town and wider South Africa): USD 425
- Member organisations: USD 475
- Non-member organisations: USD 575
- Other participants, donors, and corporations: USD 700
Please note that conference fees at all levels are already at discounted levels due to generous donor support.
What does the conference fee cover?
The conference fee covers:
- participation in the whole conference programme
- conference evening events and a spectacular evening social programme
- meals (lunch, snacks, coffee breaks)
- access to dedicated ILGA World Conference communications
for the period of 11 to 15 November 2024.
It does not include:
- any visa fees
- travel from/to Cape Town
- accommodation in Cape Town
- breakfast
- dinners
- insurance of any kind

Registering multiple participants
Due to the sensitivity of the questions we ask, each participant should fill out their form themselves.
If you wish to pay for multiple participants in one or more payments, you must pay via bank transfer. Upon receipt of your application we will communicate the next steps to facilitate payments for more than one registration. ILGA World is committed to gathering our membership and global community together. But organising a World Conference is a significant feat, and comes with high costs.
