Today is Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR) - a day to remember those we lost to transphobic violence.
According to Transrespect v. Transphobia, 331 trans and gender diverse persons were killed across the world between October 2018 and September 2019. These are only the cases that were reported: the actual number is impossible to estimate. Today we remember all of them. We mourn their deaths, we honour their lives, and we continue to fight.
